AND make a donation to the Susan G. Komen Cure for Breast Cancer. If you go to Lowe's right now and buy the specially marked pink annuals, Lowe's will donate 10% of the cost to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

They'd make the perfect Mother's Day gift and you'd be doing something for breast cancer research.

How cool is this? Komen Kids for the CureĀ®!!! My kids would LOVE to do something like this. I think this one was in Washington D.C. I wonder if they do it all over the country for the kids or just in one spot. It's definitely something worth looking into since my kids want to "walk and save people like mommy does". I think it would be so cool to start them at the ages they are because it's such a learning experience no matter what age you are.

Have you seen the new Susan G. Komen Promise Rings that are now out for you to buy? They're really neat. They come in a pack of two: one for you to wear and one to share with a friend or loved one. The ring is a two tone colored pink to symbolize the unbroken promise between two sisters to end breast cancer forever. They're made of a stretch silicon and one size fits most people. The cost is only $5.00. I think they're really cool!
