My husband needs major work done on his teeth. He has a gum disease which is horrible and in time he will need all of his teeth pulled and fake ones put in. Right now in fact he has one tooth that's killing him and he needs to have a root canal done but we don't have the money for it at this time. Whenever he goes to the dentist I am sure the dentist goes "Ka'ching" in his head and starts seeing money signs. Our insurance will pay for some of it, but not all of it. What he really needs is a complete makeover and to find a dentist that will give him that Beverly Hills smile. When you look at all of the actors today they all have such beautiful teeth. And their teeth are SO white! I've heard of a dentist in Beverly Hills, Dr. Maddahi in fact, that uses advanced dental techniques to give his patients complete smile makeovers. Something my husband desperately needs!

Ten years ago this morning, at 4:15am, both Sean and I were asleep in bed. I woke up, looked at the clock and said to myself "something feels weird". I then sat up and my water broke. It was a Friday. My little guy (who we didn't know was a boy but I just had a feeling he was) decided he was coming two weeks early! After having been in labor since about 10:30am that morning, he was born at 8:55 that night, 6 pounds 1 ounce. My friend Kristin (and also his Godmother) nicknamed him "Peanut" because he was so tiny. She had even bought him a Beanie Baby (which was an elephant) but was called Peanut. To this day he still has it. His first two years of life were hard. He had a condition with his neck called Torticollis (called Rye Neck back in my baby days) where the muscle on one side of his neck wasn't developing right. Because of it he had to have two different shaping helmets made (which he had to wear all of the time) because he'd always sleep on one side of his head and that side became flat. He and I had to go to physical therapy once a week. We were also at the neurologists alot. I remember back then being scared this was going to effect him the rest of his life. They had told us it might effect him when he first learns to ride a bike, learns to drive a car, etc. To look at him now though you wouldn't have a clue! I'm having a hard time with this birthday. Maybe because it's such a milestone? I woke up this morning, looked at the clock and it was 4:15 and I just started crying. My parents are getting here this afternoon and then tonight we're having cake and opening gifts. My brother and Syndi are coming after school too. I'm so proud of him. He's such a great kid and is so well rounded. We had his conference yesterday and she wants him in the gifted class so we're starting the long process of getting him tested. She said he's one of the best kids in her class - all his classmates like him, he helps her out and classmates as well if they need it, and is quiet and does his work. I have to volunteer at school this morning but I'm going to see if I can leave about 10 minutes early so I can have lunch with him. Happy 10th Birthday Tristan! I love you sweetheart! Someone emailed me this link this morning: VoteChooser. You answer some simple questions and then it lets you know, by your answers, who you should vote for.
Here's my results: There are two candidates most similar to my thinking, one Democrat and one Republican. For both I answered 6 questions the same as they did and 4 questions I answered differently. Candidate Most Similar to You Barack Obama Democrat AGREED ON: 6 DISAGREED ON: 4 Rudy Giuliani Republican AGREED ON: 6 DISAGREED ON: 4 The other candidates I disagreed with many more questions then agreed with. It's funny because it's actually right on. I am Democrat, but I keep going back and forth between Obama and Giuliani.

With Sean possibly working in Mississippi for two months it looks like we might be putting moving on the back burner for a while. I'm still going to work on getting the house ready to put on the market, but actually putting it up for sale can wait. I don't feel comfortable doing that with him gone.
When we do finally sell this house though Sean has talked about getting movers to help us move. Friends of ours just moved from Ohio to Indiana and they used relocation.com to help them find a moving company. They have everything at their site to help you make your move smoothly. You can also find information on real estate, insurance, careers and even home improvement at their website. If you need help with moving that extra car, you should try carmovers.com or if you're like other friends of ours that moved from Texas to Amsterdam and need help with an international move try internationalmovers.com to get shipping quotes for international moves.

So I tried my very first one yesterday - Amaretto Cheesecake Flavor and it was scrumptious! I loved it. And good thing was I didn't have that annoying stomach ache after like I have in the past with other yogurts. Maybe it was just the brands I was eating that did it to me? I might try another flavor today or stick with the Amaretto one since I know I like that one (and I have one more left). I can't remember the other flavors I bought.

Living here in Florida, you have to be aware of the sun at all times. It's taken me two years to remember if we're out in the sun even in December, we need sun block on. I guess nowadays though that could be anywhere too. Being from New Jersey though I wasn't used to needing sunblock in December since we're usually all bundled up in snow clothes that time of year and not shorts and t-shirts like here in Florida. It's good to know that you can now buy UV protective clothing which can also help protect you from harmful rays. Store.sunsationalstyle.com has everything you need when it comes to protective clothing. They have sunglasses, hats, sunscreen, shirts and more. They also have skin cancer resources at their site along with UPF 50+ sun protective swimwear. They've got everything you need to play outside and not worry about the sun's harmful rays.

Last week when I went grocery shopping, I had a coupon for Weight Watchers Yogurt. So I bought 6 of them. But as I was picking them out I noticed they don't have a huge variety to pick from. At least, where I went shopping didn't. I'm wondering if other grocery stores have a bigger or different variety. I had gone to Sweet Bay last week. Maybe next time I'll try Publix and see what they have. I haven't tried them yet. I'm not a huge fan of yogurt only because about an hour after eating it, my stomach hurts. But I thought I'd try a different brand this time and see.

If you own your own business and are looking to upgrade your technology or buy more supplies, expand your business or do whatever you want but you don't have the money right now, why not get a Fast Business Cash advance from MeritCapitalAdvance.com? It's not like a typical loan. What they do is offer you a financing program which is based on your anticipated future Visa® and MasterCard© sales. What that means is a small amount will be deducted from your Visa® and MasterCard© receipts until the balance is paid in full. So repayments are made only when you get paid by your customers. Which means there is no fixed payment schedule. There is no application fee and you receive your cash within days. The requirements are: you've been in business for over one year, you've been accepting Visa® and MasterCard© sales for over 3 months and your average monthly Visa® and MasterCard© credit card sales are over $2500.00. If this is you, go and apply for that cash right now. All you'll need is your past 3 months of Visa® and MasterCard© processing statements, a copy of your property lease and your past 3 months of bank statements. It's as easy as that!

I LOVE Laughing Cow Cheese. In trying to stick with some sort of diet (and I've actually been doing really well) for lunch today I had a wedge of French Onion Laughing Cow cheese on 5 melba toasts. I hadn't had the French Onion before and it's really good. I thought I'd like it though just because I love French Onion anything, plus I love all of the other flavors of the Laughing Cow cheeses. And to drink I had a glass of Cherry Coke Zero. I've been doing really well on the soda intake too. We've only got diet sodas in the house. As long as it's not bought, it won't be drank!
