"I finally took my head out of the sand and freed up my nostrils and filled them with good, clean air, and that good clean air was called Doing Something for Someone Else." -Norma Jean McKeldin, diagnosed age 39

View Article  Bad Credit...
Sean's credit isn't great. In fact, it's pretty bad. So whenever we've needed to find an Auto Loan we've had to put me on the loan as well because my credit is actually good. Even though I don't work, I was still on the loan. There are places online that you can go to to get Bad Credit Loans for those of you that have poor credit. CompleteLoanSource.com is one such place. They help people nationwide that suffer from bad credit. Programs they have available are auto loans, payday loans, pesonal loans, cash advance and even debt consolidation. And their loan approval process is fast and free and comes with no obligation whatsoever from you. So if you suffer from bad credit and are in need of a loan, CompleteLoanSource.com is your one-stop place for all kinds of loans.
View Article  A New Earth!
I received an email from the Oprah.com website asking me if I'd signed up yet for her new online class about the book A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. I'd never heard about it before but after reading some information on it at her site I became intrigued and am now signed up for the class that starts this Monday, March 3rd at 9:00pm. I need to go and get the book now though before then and also print up the workbook. Maybe the kids and I can make a trip to Barnes and Noble tomorrow. If any of you sign up for it let me know. It looks like it's going to be very interesting. To learn more about it or to sign up, click here: A New Earth
View Article  Student Educational Travel...
If you're a student or a parent of one who has the urge to travel (like I always did back in the day), you really need to go to an affordable student travel website like hemispheretravel.com. Hemisphere Educational Travel is a travel tour agency which offers international and US educational tour packages to students. When you go to their website you'll see they have US Tours, International Tours, Musicals and Plays and even custom tours. Go and tour the Big Apple or Washington, D.C. Or, if you'd rather, go see Big Ben and Westminster Abbey over in England. I was over there in 1994 for a Pink Floyd concert held in Earls Court and had the time of my life. I not only saw Big Ben and Westminster Abbey but also St. Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Piccadiliy Circus, the Tower Bridge and so much more! It was such an awesome trip!
View Article  Nothing on TV!
There is nothing on TV tonight and I'm bored out of my mind! I keep thinking of things I *could* do but never actually get up off the couch to do them. It would make for a great list of things I need to get done on a day or night I feel more productive though. So here I sit with my laptop on my lap watching some episode of 2 1/2 Men (which I normally never watch and can't stand actually). Oy vei - it's going to be a long 6 weeks!
View Article  It's a no brainer!
I need new window blinds for our sliding door in the den that leads out to our back lanai. Ours are all dented and yucky looking. I was actually going back and forth between blinds and curtains when I came across this website called No Brainer Blinds and found a set that I love. Their prices are in our price range too which is awesome. Of course I just had to keep looking on their site and I found some great room darkening ones that would work perfectly in all 4 bedrooms. I need darkness to sleep so I've been trying to find room darkening ones for a while now. These are what I've been looking for!

Sean left yesterday for his 6 weeks of work in Louisiana and the kids have been basket cases ever since. Especially my oldest. We all just got off the phone with Sean and both Caelie and Tristan sobbed getting off the phone with him and Tristan has been crying for the past hour. I hope this doesn't happen every night for the next 6 weeks. They're breaking my heart and Sean's.
View Article  Build A Sign...
With Sean gone for 6 weeks I'm trying to figure out a good way for a great homecoming for him. I've seen Yard Signs on people's lawns before for big events. Maybe we could have one made that says "Welcome Home Daddy" or something like that? I know that at BuildASign.com they have some great prices for custom made signs. I also noticed they make car magnets as well. I could then get two things from the same place: a welcome home sign for Sean and a car magnet for this website to get it advertised more. That is definitely a website to keep for future reference.
View Article  Aromatherapy for ACNE
This is something I definitely need lately. I get these awesome daily aromatherapy tips in my email and most of them are keepers. This one is a definitie keeper!

Try applying 1 drop of the following essential oils directly to the acne. Oils to try are Tea Tree Oil, Lavender Oil, and Rosewood Oil. If you have
sensitive skin, you may need to dilute the oil with grape seed oil to avoid irritation. Apply the oil before going to bed and then wash it away, using
pure soap and clean water, in the morning.

View Article  Small business web hosting...
Friends of mine just recently started their own online business. Before even getting it up and running though they first had to find somewhere that offers small business web hosting. Once you find one that suits your needs and what it is you want to sell, you then need to figure out how to design the site.

One great place to go for all of this is Concentric. If I were to ever start up an online business I'd go with them. They have such great features such as domain registration, web hosting, email hosting and even freebies like spam filters and virus protection. They even have a feature called Groupware which would work greatly where you have a whole team of individuals involved. It is designed for groups in mind and ensures that the entire group will work more effectively together.

I was checking out their hosting plans and their prices are very reasonable. I'm definitely keeping this company in mind for future reference!
View Article  Cleaning = exercise?
I just got done completely dusting and vacuuming the den and it took me about over an hour. I am sweating like crazy (nice visual huh?) It's been so crazy lately I haven't had much time to clean so it really needed it and I got every crevice and corner too so it's good now for a while. But I was wondering how many calories we burn when we're cleaning. Whether it's vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing the tub/toilet/sink, mopping the kitchen floor - whatever it is. Because you work up a sweat that's got to account for something right?

Off to clean the kids bathroom now.
