View Article  The house in OBX...
I know, you're probably tired of hearing about the house we rented over a week ago in the Outer Banks but it was just SO awesome AND no one is making you come here to this blog and read anything so :P

Anyway, the house had some very modern things added to it. So much so I'm surprised it didn't have those new walk in bathtubs that we're seeing everywhere now. I guess though those are made for older folk and probably more for retirement/assisted living homes then anywhere else. The house in OBX did have a few "what is that" things to it. Like the one sink on the 3rd floor (which has a story behind it but not writing about that right now). It's shape is just absurd and weird and non functional! Then there were the sinks in the kids bathrooms that, as Kevin would put it, looked like a woman's body part (not going to type that out here in this post but you can guess). Other then that it had a kicking stereo system which could be heard throughout the house and in any room if you just flicked the switch by the door to the room. It had 13 flat screen TV's throughout, 3 HUGE refrigerators, 3 microwaves, 2 ovens, 3 dishwashers, an awesome theatre room, a tanning bed, a hot tub, an indoor/outdoor heated pool with kiddie pool, many many balconies with which to sit on and take in a view (and there was a view at all parts of that house whether it was the sound or the ocean) and a screened in porch in the back. I miss that house!
View Article  Team Fundraiser
My Team "Black Sheep" for the Avon Walk had their 1st fundraiser this past weekend. I couldn't make it so I wasn't able to reap in the rewards but my teammate/friend Colleen said they did very well. Her and my other teammate Gigi both went and I believe were there (out front of Publix) for 6 hours.(?) And the both made $140 to put towards their goal. Not bad!!!! We're doing another one next month which I will be able to attend and I can't wait! I really need to get on the ball with fundraising!
